Hello erveryone!

I picked up a MP10QD about a week ago and am planning on installing it while doing todays water change. I screwed the mounting plate onto my controller mounting board and then I realized that the pump was plugged into the driver and that the pump itself can't fit through the hole I run the cords through to the back of the panel and out of sight.

I'm wondering if the pump plug is removable from the driver like the power supply? If it is I can just remove it and plug it back in once I've fished it through the hole but if it isn't I might need to reconsider where I mount the driver. I figured I'd ask before I pulling on something that may not bee meant to be pulled on something so expensive. The instructions show a photo of the driver without anything plugged in but I'm not sure if they just did that to clearly show where everything goes or if it actually comes apart. Below is a photo of the mounting board.

Thanks in advance!

You can take the control apart and unplug the cord going to the drive.

Yes you can you will have to take apart the driver and unplug the pump.
Thanks guys! I'm not the most tech savy person in the world- is this hard to do and if I do take it apart does that void the warranty?

Well I found a video on upgrading the driver on the Ecotech's and used that to help walk me through it, thanks for the help guys, I'm really happy with how it came out!

Not tech savvy?!?! I have had the Apex for over a month and haven't even taken it out of the box because I don't know where to start....... You look like you're doing alright!

After a few hours of trying to update a single module and googling the heck out of it I figured out how to do that one thing... I realized if step one took me 3-4 hours this would be up and running in a few years... I decided to just ask on the controller forum, If they could help me get started I'm confident they could do the same for you!
