Is the seneye par metere accurate enough?

As the title says I want to measure the par in 3 of my tanks and I am curious if the seneye is accurate enough to use as a par meter. I have a laptop so I'll be able to use it for sure. Main reason I ask is because it seems all par meters are like 500$ and this one is only 200

I use the seneye for measuring. BRS did a good review of it compared to others a while back.

For me, I am not sure I care if PAR is 320 or 290, as long as I know that things work well for me at 290 in my tanks and I can measure and have some baseline.

Seneye is fine if you can get it perfectly square and without any movement or anything. It is a good swag. In a controlled setting like a BRS test tank, it can do quite well. I only used one once in a real tank and it was all over the place and my Apogee 510 was smoother and more consistent.

I've used the Apogee 500 ("full spectrum" sensor) and the Seneye and get comparable results. As JDA posted, the Seneye is way more sensitive to being "off axis" from the emitter than Apogee's sensor.
