Is there a decent glass scraper????

Formerly the Kent Marine Pro Scraper. Has interchangeable blades available- stainless for glass , plastic for acrylic, and scrubby blades for light algae dustings. Been using for as long as I remember. Good stuff. If using on acrylic it’s best to keep tabs on algae because corraline will dull the plastic blade after a few cleanings . But they come in 10 packs.

For magnetic we like the flipper. For something with a handle the Seachem scrapers are great because they have a sharp blade. It’s like a longer razor blade. They come in 6”, 12”, and 18”.

I must be the odd man out. I liked my old school magfloat with epoxied on razor holder. I just always forgot and left it and let the razor rust away.
I recently purchased the Tunze Strong for my 75. It is a joke, the old school magfloat did a better job. The plastic blade just bounces over coralline. I have not tried the steel blade, but If I use that, i may as well have kept using the 20 year old mag float with glued on razor holder.

Unfortunately they stopped making the epoxied razor holder for the mag float. You could glue those on the algae free magnet as well. Algaefree came out with their own, it’s a joke. Flipper edge is ok, but the green corraline will defeat you. Tunze is ok too, but better swap the dry side because the handle side is pathetic.

Another vote for the Tunze- mine is great. I did swap the plastic blades for the metal ones. The plastic ones work great but you can't beat the metal ones for those tough spots.

I’ve been hot glueing a Stanley blade to a flipper, peels right off afterwards. There’s a couple of little slots in the flipper so you can force glue into them to make hot glue rivets to prevent unintended release.

In my opinion, Mag-Float are the OG.
They come with a removable blade if you choose not to use it all the time which is what I do.
You can replace the felt and bristles when they wear down.

This one is about 6 inches wide, uses german stainless for a blade. You have to order it from Eurpoe, though. You can screw PVC into the bottom and make a handle as long as you want.
For magnets, Tunze one is as good as it gets.
