Is there a market for feeder snails?

Is there a market for feeder snails? I ask because in my backyard, here in southeastern nc, there are literally millions of snails that are extremely numerous. I know that some fish eat snails and I was wondering if there was a market to harvest them and sell them? They also might make good clean up crew members, as they burrow in the sand and eat stuff and they have cool tubes that they stick out of the water when they sense food in the water. I was thinking maybe 10-50 cents each?

I've kept peacock mantis shrimp and puffer fish in the past, both of which appreciate snails to eat. I always found it challenging, particularly in the winter time, to economically source snails for these. I imagine that if you could reliably supply snails as food for folks that keep these critters, you might find a market for them.

How much would you think would be a fair price?

It really depends on what you have. I'd first identify what you have - maybe check out the pics at this link, which would also help you price them https://www.reefcleaners.org/aquarium-store/tank-cleaners

I might then do a search on Amazon and Ebay and see if you can find sellers with similar snails. That'd also help to determine how you should price them.

Also check with your states laws, collecting wild specimens for resale may have restrictions.

Research what snails they are too, there are some multi hosts parasites that are present in inverts. Only mention bc i experienced freshwater black ich last summer which requires 3 different hosts, one being snails. Long story short killed all my snails with copper. This may not be applicable to the snails you have in the slightest
