Is there a minimum hours of darkness corals require?

I am planning a new build for my living room. My wife and I work different shifts with her getting up at 6:00am and me going to bed around 1:00am. So there will be ambient light for most of 19 hours a day, even when the tank lights are off. Will this affect corals?
