I am somewhat of a compulsive hand washer and when doing maintenance on the tanks I can't help but wash up after having an entire arm in the tank. Often I have to get back in the tank and so far I have been hoping the GAC negates any negative aspect of soap residue. Is there any reef safe soap out there? I have been trying to just use water rinses instead of soap when I can, but I don't like the disgusting feel of salt water on skin.

I have not had issues with my antibacterial plain soap with no perfumes, lotion etc. I just make sure to rinse really well and dry well.

the soap at bulk reef supply is discontinued.

There sure is, but you have to make a weak solution of it is sodium hydroxide, the other is baked baking soda, not baking soda.
I dipped my hands up to my elbows and some and rinse or dip into a 5 gallon bucket of water.

Just a joke...

glad I'm not the only one ,plus it really make my arm itch . I just rinse the salt off under the tap until finished if I do use soap I rinse well then towel dry .

Thread back from the dead!

Dawn is my go to.

Leaves no residue.

Remember warm to hot water for rinsing.
