is there a sure fire way to ID a micro?

Isn't it more than just "smaller polyps?" I have a supposed acan lord that has tiny, tiny polyps compared to regular lords--maybe 1/4th the size, but nothing about it strikes me as being a micro more than an acan lord...I'll try to get a pic later.
 
Sure. The best way to do it is send it to me. I'll take off a polyp, expose the skeleton, and ID it. In about a month or two, I'll send you a frag of it. :) That is the absolute surest way to do it.
 
I have some lords that are about the same size as micro's. They grow differently than my micro's. The skeletan is different I believe but don't hold me to that.
