Is there an "old school" trend?

Comment I'd like to make is not just about the old school corals coming back, but the "old school" reefkeepers who are still out there and understand what it is to go from vho-cf-mh-t5-led as well as the strengths-weaknesses and successes - failures of old school to new age equipment. They are as tried and true as all of these multiple generation corals with a Wikipedia of knowledge that they/we are happy to share....like you Scott!

LOL, so true...I know some old school reefers that are still cutting edge. I think being open minded to the new "state of the art" is so important.. And the appreciation for where we are now in the hobby cannot be overstated...We've come so far, yet it feels like we're still at the beginning in many respects. That's what makes this such a compelling hobby!

Oh, yes...Go Dodgers!!! Let's hope for a long playoff run~

I love the new trendy corals, but certianly don't have the money for them. I've found, if I just wait a few years I can usually find a nice chunk of whatever was cool a few years ago at a resonable price. It still looks just as cool as it did when it was a must-have-coral. It's worth the wait for me. Kinda like discovering an awesome show in Netflix. It may have been out five-ten years ago and I missed it then, but I still enjoy it just as much if not more.

BTW, I've got a nice sized colony of Palmer's Blue. It's the highlight of my reef. LOL!
