Is there any corals a flame angle wont eat?

I got my flame angle thinking i was just going to keep it a fowlr tank but now i want corals, is there any corals that angelfish dont nip at?

LPS and soft corals often fall victim to angelfish nipping. I'd stick with sps corals if you want to play it safe. Best of luck.

Two tanks , two flames and they bother nothing.
Those with issue will not have issues with SPS that do not have polyps. Zoa and meat coral are the ones at risk

I've had a Flame Angel in my softy tanks ( not the same one) for several decades and did not have a issue.
I've kept Coral Beauty's too with no issue.
When I say no issue, is the Flame never stopped to consume a leather coral or eat colonies of zoanthids or mushrooms.
They do swim around and once in a while randomly nip at stuff, but I have never seen them do any harm.
They graze, mostly on the live rock, sand or tank walls.
I'm currently looking for a new one.
My last one of 10 years passed suddenly a couple months ago

Thats a 50/50 as euphyllia can sting, they may leave it alone.

Yeah the flame angelfish is reef safe. I have one too. It’s one of the Angel types that don’t bother corals

I have two in separate tanks and they couldn’t care less about coral
It’s hit and miss with a bad one

I agree. I feel like this can go with any fish. I’ve had fish who are “reef safe” and they were savages. Every fish has their own personalities. It’s the same for aggressive fish. I’ve had fish known to be super friendly but we’re complete ****** bags and vise versa. I have two clowns that are best friends with two yellow tail damsels. They’re all super friendly with everyone. No one picks on anyone in my tank. The only one who can be aggressive is the tri color blenny lol but only to a new tank mate. He’s mean right away but after 2 days, he’s their best friend. I’ve gotten very lucky to have all super super friendly fish! I have a flame hawk who is a sweet heart as well. Thank God!

I have had really good luck with my flame angel and lps. I have a torches, hammers, frogspawn, Duncan, blastos, favia, candy cane, chalice, zoas, ricordea, discos, rhodactis, bta, cap plating and digi Montipora.

The only coral he ever bothered was an ORA green birdsnest. He kept nipping at the polyps and I had to move it to another tank.

So the general conclusion is the majority of Flames are relatively model citizens? When fed appropriately and given the adequate rock surfaces to graze?
