Is there hope for Nemo?

Has anyone had a fish jump ship and survive even when you thought it was dead?

idk if was on this forum but I swear I read a post about someone’s tang who was dry af and had recovered after like 10hrs or something crazy like that. I found one of our clowns on the floor tonight about an hour after I had last looked at the tank so I put him in a breeder box and he was still seeming to create a slime coat (I tried to gently get some of the pet dander off him) but no signs of breathing or movement

I feel so bad, our girl clown keeps going up to the breeder box to check on him. We were literally in the middle of watching finding nemo, I can’t make this up. We already have a lid on the way for this tank but with the holidays it will probably take a while to get here
