I've had this clown fish for about a month now. She's always acted normal, ate the same day I got her, active, etc. I got another clown two weeks after her and they have paired. Always swimming together. I also have a cardinal fish in there. I feed them twice a day alternating between mysis shrimp, San Francisco bay marine cuisine, and live black worms. Supplement with flakes.
From the first day of getting the clown fish, I noticed I could see her spine in certain light. I thought she was just skinny and I'd fatten her up. She eats like a pig multiple times a day and comparing pictures she's grown a bit but I still see that line and I've recently noticed I can see some type of organ.

Her poop looks brown and normal. Neither of the other fish are having this problem. Starting to get worried.

Does she have any trouble swimming? That’s sort of in the location of the swim bladder but it could also be a growth of some sort. I’ll wait for someone more knowledgeable like @Humblefish

Ever see any stringy white poop come out of her?

Intestinal worms seem to be becoming more common with clownfish lately: https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/internal-parasites-intestinal-worms.267419/

Thank you both for replying. She doesn't seem to be having trouble swimming. Hopefully it isn't her swim bladder. @Humblefish I haven't seen any white poop but I think I will treat her for parasites just in case. I read your article, very helpful. When dosing seachem metroplex with focus to bind to food, how much do you recommend buying for a full treatment? On marine depot they come in 5g increments. Also, I was wondering if the medicine makes them less likely to eat the food? Like when you try to hide a dogs pill in some cheese lol. Maybe soaking live black worms would be better than frozen since they cant seem to resist those

This should be enough to last you the 2-3 weeks of treatment (feeding 2x daily): https://www.amazon.com/Seachem-Aquarium-Water-Treatment-Set/dp/B01A9VMFWK/

I also saw this (Kanaplex is a great antibiotic to keep on hand): https://www.amazon.com/Seachem-Treatment-1-Focus-1-Metroplex-1-Kanaplex/dp/B01HH6X4T8/

Focus increases the palatability of the medication(s), and IME using frozen or pellets works best. I've never laced live blackworms with medications before. :p The metro would probably kill them pretty quick.

Thank you for your help. Ordering now. Hopefully this does the trick and she's all better in a couple weeks!
