Is there such a thing as too much flow for fish?

I have a JBJ 45, so about 32 gallons of tank volume. I have a Korallia 1500 gph powerhead in the back left corner pointed at an angle to the front glass as well as a Jabao SLW-20 on the right side. I'm not sure exactly how many GPH this pump is running, but I have it turned up about 80%, and it's capable of ~2600 GPH. When I first calculated my tank turnover rate it seemed to be a little over 70x which I thought as acceptable as a lot of SPS tanks run that. Now that I accounted for the fact my display volume is not 45 gallons, but closer to 32, I realized I have over 100x turnover. The SPS corals are all happy and its allowed me to place them lower down in the tank so I'm not concerned about them, but I am wondering if this is okay for the fish?

I currently have a longnose hawk and a single clown, as I lost the male clown this week sparking my concern over the flow being too much. I don't see them being tossed around the tank but just want to be sure. I don't plan on keeping any fish that are weak swimmers. I plan on adding a couple of wrasses, a goby, maybe a chalk bass or two.

My 120DT has ~70-80x turnover from powerheads in the tank, another 900gph from the return pump. The fish all do just fine with it.

Sure, you can overdue flow.
Fish want to swim, not surf.
I quiet things down a bit at night for easy sleeping.
If they are fighting the current all the time, that’s to much.

My opinion is gas exchange not necessarily flow. High flow absolutely helps with gas exchange but like others have noted there can be an upper limit.
