There is such a thing as too much rock. Whoever came up with the nonsense '1-2lbs per gallon' rule did not understand that aquascaping is a thing. Use only as much rock as is pleasing to you.

TBH, the tank looks like a 'box of rocks' as is. Negative space is your friend.

That looks okay but yes you can have too much. I had my tank stacked to the top with lots of rock but there was no circulation through the rock and detrius built up and nitrates arose. Looked really cool though.

it looks "A" okay too me just as long as you still have enough swimming space for that salfin tang

hard to see but i try to slope the rockwork backwards, Oh yea hes got the front and goes around the sides to the back ,,Will be getting bigger tank soon hopefully a 180 or larger..That sailfin is the reason i went top the 120 6 months ago and will be when i upgrade again...Good excuse for the wife..lol

See thats what I see is like I dumped the box straight into the tank but u do have a lot holes

Awesome tank and pics. How do you keep your glass so clean ? My front is clean but i have trouble with the sides. Coaraline grows so fast i can't keep up with it.

I just use the mag float every 4 days ,takes off just a thin layer of green stuff..I can see in the corners where coraline is starting to grow where i cant get.\
I made sure i left room on the sides where the magfloat wouldnt hit the rocks..Lucky i havent had the problem yet with it growing everywhere,It is down in the sump though, and on the rocks which is good.

Thanks for the kind words,

U can see i added dry rock about a week ago and its starting to turn..

My tank looks the same, even worse at feeding time =X

those small ones only come out in the evening, its funny, morning time there will not be any on the sand bed,but for some reason around 5-6 they start to come out..

There is such thing as to much rock, you're good however :) love the scape. I say a tank has to much rock when the inhabitants can't swim in front of it to go around, like they have to swim over he rock to get to the other side
