Honestly with room yet to grow on the fish, you are near/at capacity. Assuming you have rock in the tank, you have about 120 useable gallons on water volume. You have nearly what i have in a 660g tank

I have a ton of rock/hiding places and do monthly 45 gallon water changes, all fish seem 2 be fine. A little fighting here and there but besides for that they all seem 2 b happy , healthy and peaceful

Hello;

I think it’s all different per tank. I know that my 240 has a 4 inch blue hippo, 4 inch purple tang, and 3 inch tommini tang. I then have an 7-8 inch Naso (tang), just dwarfs all my fish. I then have a 4-5 inch Bellus angel, with 5 1-2 inch blue chromies, and 2 inch clown that I hope he jumps out of the tank. At this point my tank is twice the size of yours and mine is at the limit. I do have corals and rock, my tank is 6 feet also by 24 wide. It is nice that it’s 34 inches tall. (Sucks horribly for maintenance but gives more swim room. I also made passage ways through the rock work for them to hide.

I definitely think once they grow, within a year you will need a much larger tank. Specially with tangs, you may need to go to 8 ft long tank. Even I think my tank is to small for my large Naso. He didn’t look that large until he was next to my hippo, which is the largest in there. I don’t have too much to worry I do have a 425 thats new I just have not set it up; and or purchased all for it. But that tank i feel pretty certain that it can hold my current stock (because it’s 8 feet long).

I would definitely suggest feeding a few times to keep them all happy. That’s a lot for a 125, but again there is no rock if I read this correctly.

As far as being overstocked, as long as your nutrients are under control and the fish aren't killing each other, then you aren't overstocked.

But, the emperor angel, the blue face angel, and arguably the hippo tangs will outgrow a 150.

My initial thought would be yes that seems overstocked.

Tangs grow a lot when they are well fed. My PB tangs go deon less the 2 inches to 6+ inches I 1 year. Yellow go from about 1.5 to almost 5 inches and Purple go from 1.5 to 6 inches all in 1 year. You get the idea.
either that or a lot of fish will died and the tank will only be slightly over stock.
Blue tang and Chevron tangs will get quite a bit bigger to. Get to 8+ quickly IME
