If this is a brain does is have the same requirement as a scan or more light?

Will most likely sting anything near it, mine do. They send out sweepers at night. An a an may be able to fight back, I’d try it but be prepared to move it.
 
They require basically the same light intensity. As with any coral, you need to be aware of potential sweeper tentacles that can sting neighboring corals. Some corals carry a stronger sting than others. Galaxea coral has a strong sting and 3-4 inch sweeper tentacles to give you an example.
