My buddy was texting me today, said he found something on one of his corals. To me looks like a bristle worm. Let me know if it is, what he can expect, what should be done from here out. Thanks guys! Oh and the coral is a favia, and the brown spiral thing is what he found.

Looks like a vermetid snail. They multiply quick under the correct conditions. Best to remove

I agree. Harmless, but they send out a web-like feeding strand that can irritate nearby coral but yeah, they'll end up everywhere. I usually scrape them off the plugs before going into the frag tank.
