Is this a bristle worm?

I found it slithering through my Gonipora and decided to kill it while it was still visible. Did I overreact?

If it is a bristle worm, it is a very long one. Most of mine were redish and not as long as that but fat too.

If you plan on killing all of them, you are going to be a busy man! Where there is one visible there are many more that aren't

Bad feeds on corals, hydroids , bryozoans.

Definitely a Syllid worm. Glad I got it out when I did. Pretty sure it came in on the gonipora I picked up over the weekend. Hopefully that was the only one
