Is this a bristle worm?

Only reason I ask is, it would help to know if it's a predator or just a scavenger. Right now, it sounds like a scavenger. So I wouldn't worry. Unless you see injury to fish or coral. I would take it out.
I do have a herbivorous eunice worm. So I never seen a reason to remove her. Her favorite foods are GHA. I like to watch my hitch hikers to know about their diets.

I will keep an eye on it. The biggest reason I bought uncured live rock was just for this kind of stuff. I really hope my other 10 pounds from gulf live rock shows soon.. Ordered it the first of July.

It's the best part. The hikers! It doesn't doesn't appear to look like a threat. But you never know. Fascinating guy you have. Until one of our older vets comes in and say "KEEL IT with FIRE". So far, I don't think anyone knows.

I’m looking forward to it specially if they know what it is

Wouldn’t it have some kind of pincers or something? The thing looks like a hairy hotdog
maybe it hasn't fully developed yet. if you don't what it is just take it out. better safe than sorry.

How would I get all of it out without breaking the rock?

My trick with shutting lights off is working will see if I can get a pic of it further out

Here is it full length. Nobody knows that it is

Eunicid, and a nightmare type worm. You must set trap or remove rock Wearing gloves and get it out with large net into bucket and freexe it or flush it if less than 12". Bobbit worms are destroyers of reef systems eating livestock and creating havoc.

So this is a bad worm
