is this a brittle starfish?

I have seen 2 spots on this rock with little white arm things coming out of the holes. I saw a little circle disk attached to the body so i was wondering if this could be a small brittle starfish

there were more two arms coming out of the hole but one went back in

Hard to tell from pic but from what you described sounds like it could be.

Yep, a baby brittle star. I had one that would do the same thing, but mine lived inside of my montipora stellata.

Most likely, I had something similar when I got a frag of green leptastrea. I decided to separate the coral from the frag base and out came 7 small brittle stars.
