No that looks like a red circle from two different angles...oh hang on! Always hard to be 100% sure but it does look like it.

I touched it and it fell apart instantly, is that normal haha I guess it would explain the name

it looks like its a bristle worm. When you touched it did you get any little spines in your finger?

Well I have never been brave enough to go and touch it so no idea if it falls apart. I have had some tiny spines in my fingers from cleaning my sock though... Mine used to come out at 'dusk' time just before the tanks goes dark, will disappear at any sign of bright light like yours though.
