Silly question, but this thing doesn't act like any coral I have ever seen. I don't ever see any tentacles however I have been successful in the past with spot feeding the mouths (if I can keep the other critters away long enough for the coral to react).... Just curious on the clubs thoughts? This piece is roughly 3" x 4"... Thanks, NP

Yes it is considered a chalice.
Chalice is a common name though for several different corals.

I have a similar chalice that I thought was browned out when I got it. Mine turned iridescent green over the brown lately. No tentacles but it looks like pinchers in its mouth. They like full spectrum. Under t5 for months it nearly died. Radions it does great.

Ive had to bring this thing back from the dead... I got it from a fellow reefer that inherited it and didn't have the capabilities to keep it... Here is the before!
