Is this a Clove polyp?

Depends on what type it is, the blue ones will spread quicker than the other types from what I've seen in my buddy's tank. I have had fireworks polyps in the past and they were fine and easy to remove if need be so it comes down to what kind you have. Can you get a clearer picture under white light or at least better light? It's hard to tell from that picture but definitely looks like polyps.

They're definitely blue or purple in white light
 
Are they separated on an island or on rock that's connected to some other ones? If it's on an island they should stay isolated but they can pop up elsewhere so just keep an eye out if you decide to keep them. If you don't want to risk them becoming a problem you can always just pull them.
 
Do they look like this? If so, I'd get rid of them personally. You can search the forums here for eliminating blue clove polyps and see how invasive they can be.
