Is this a cut on Convict Tang or something else?

I've had this horizontal thing on my convict tang for a while but it wasn't this big. It almost looks like a cut. Is this a sign of some aggression between tangs or is this something else? Also in this tank is a White-tail bristletooth tang, two clowns and 6 chromises. 240 Gallons, RedSea 900. I've never seen the two tangs fight and Nori is always available in the day-time.

Can’t believe no one replied. Something similar just happen to my mimic tang and I have a whitetail. I think you may have the same issue.

@Reef_Ninjas Yes, I was surprised too. Turns out it wasn't too bad after all. The convict tang healed up within 3 days like nothing happened. I'm relieved but also aware now that just two tangs is not a good idea after all. They seem to chase each other but so far just that. Hope yours is fine too

Yes I isolated it and it healed up pretty quick after going through pop eye.

Kinda does look like a tail strike from another tang, but it does look big. Whats your other tang?
