Would 2 of these over a 75 gallon 48"x18"x20" work for all corals? Is the PAR and PUR good? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated, thanks

How much are they asking for that light? I think you could do better.

anything in this price range out there for LEDs that are better? If not what about this?

I'd stop shopping E-Bay, and check out some of the sponsors here. We have more then a couple top notch LED vendors that can get you set up with what you need. I have a light from a sponsor here myself.

reefkoi.com on here has some great led light from evolution led in that price range i have a few of them and they are great for almost everything

Thanks they are tio tronics it's good to hear from someone that is using them. Do you think 2 are enough for my tank? How high off the water do you have yours? Thanks again for the positive reply

I ordered some of these for my sister, and now just ordered some for myself. I built my own led and my led driver died so I bought one of the taotronics lights, for the money you can't beat them. You can't build your own 120w light for the price of the "Chinese black box light" there are several out there with different features. I would spent a little more and get a dimmable model.
I bought my sisters light from eBay , for my light I went with ordering from the manufacturer in china, so for the same price as the eBay light I got optics and a built in timer. I would post a link but I believe that's frowned upon. Also I haven't received the light yet so I can't recommend the place I got them from yet.

Thanks for your reply I have gotten the lights and have had them running for about 10 days now, I did get the dimmable ones to slowly acclimate my coral to the new light. I have them at about 30% white and 55% blue. So far I am enjoying the light it is nice to fine tune to my liking as far as color ratio, corals seem to be doing great and I now have clams in my tank, love them, and they are doing good with the lights too. I will let everyone know how it's going in a few weeks.

Do these need to be hung or can they be mounted some other way? I have limited space in my canopy.

I for one am avoiding the Tao's and waiting til the new reef breaders 32/36 in unit (can't remember now) come's out, better spectrum/visual color than the Tao's and may be controllable/ dimmable. I think you can do better..... If you decide to go that route, (Tao) try and find someone local to you so you can see the light in person. I saw it and didnt like the visual color.

here is an update so far so good corals and clams are doing awesome, still very happy with the lights. Thanks for all the comments and info will update in the near future.

not real sure I first had mine hanging and now I have them sitting on my glass because I changed aquariums but I think you wouldn't have a problem figuring something out. Maybe someone else can answer that question that has mounted them in a canopy. Good luck
