Can’t find my lenses, will try again. There is no definition in that photo that tells anything. Could be a mushroom, some sort of anenome... White light, clear pic.
It's hard to make out with the blue light. Could we get images with white light (ex. with a flashlight)?
Thanks! Do they grow or mostly stay this small size?
No problem! I have never seen hitchhiker ball anemones grow much larger than a pea, though there are massive, rarer species. Thanks! Do they grow or mostly stay this small size?
By ball tips, do you mean the white tips of the tentacles? I think I can see them in OP’s images. OP’s cnidarian also looks more compact than Majanos and has a more prominent mouth. Its a Majano anemone.
Missing ball tips to signify a ball anemone which is actually a mushroom and not true anemone
You stated ball anemone- Below is ball and thats nothing close:By ball tips, do you mean the white tips of the tentacles? I think I can see them in OP’s images. OP’s cnidarian also looks more compact than Majanos and has a more prominent mouth.
