Hello!

I’m a freshwater convert and set up my first reef tank six months ago. Have been loving it so far and have a 30g with a 10 g sump with dry rock start.

I just added 10 lbs of KP aquatics live rock three weeks ago to add biodiversity and help with Dino’s (worked like a charm in addition to adding UV and dosing microbacter7).

I just noticed today a bunch of these little clear worm like things that look like small feather dusters. I hope it’s not Aiptasia. Any ideas? Thanks.

Hard to tell from that pic but looks like feather dusters
Thanks!

are feather dusters good or bad? Also saw a bristle worm in there today for the first time which for sure came on the rock even though I did a saltwater 1.4 SG bath. Bristle works Good or bad?

Its Pineapple sponge. Short lived and feeds off silica either from water source or expired Di Resin

I say bristleworms are good. Especially if you’re just starting out… they’re free clean up crew!
