Found this little purple feather duster looking thing hiding in my polyps colony. Is it a feather duster? I've had this polyps colony for 6 months and this is the first time I've seen it! If I walk close to the tank, it shoots back under the coral and hides.

Looks like the head from a vermetid snail. When it shoots back in, is there a tube/opening showing?
Please when you post a video, 3 seconds goes quick- at least 10 seconds will be helpful

It was hard to tell from the first picture. But, yes that is a feather duster. I love those things! For videos, you now have to put them on youtube and "insert link" them to get them to play. It is really easy to put them on youtube.
