Had 4 fish out of 11 with ick in my 245 DT. Tore apart/removed rock work to cacth all fish. Tank will be fallow for 76 days. Set up 2 40gal QT/Hospital tanks. I’m 28 days into Qt and 21 days at 5.0 cupramine. The Bellus had ick on her body and still has the one white dot on her tail fin. The watanabei never showed any ick. But developed a few weird/reddish scales two days ago. And a white streak on her tail. Now today I see what looks like a fluke? Should I pull her and treat with General cure or finish the copper? Both have stopped eating. My Desjardin had ick and has developed HLLE from the copper. I hate to pull it out with a week left of copper. Rest of the fish all look good. I haven’t lost any fish. I’ve never QT before but I will from now on ... what a mess. Any input is welcome.. Thanks.![]()
Did a freshwater dip. It fell right off. Did both angels and the tang. Had a number of come off on the water. One was worm like. I put them back in the copper tank. Thinking I should finish the copper at this point then treat the tank with general cure. Thoughts ?
Thanks! I’m stressing over it all and just unsureYes I would proceed with copper. Once copper is removed start GC or Prazipro.
The dip should have removed enough that there is relief until you are finished with copper.
