Yep, its' a goni. Really nice one at that, the long tentacled specimens are my favorites.Wish these pics were better- it definitely has goniopora “stems”...

That looks like a Goni indeed. Thanks for the better pics, I was definitely not sure about it but its a very nice one. I am in Texas myself but Katy is too far to drive for me. Too badIt was impossible to get pics- I basted it so Garlic (cleaner shrimp) had a Pavlovian response... trying to fight off a shrimp, baste and snap a pic without glare. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
