Is this a good guy or bad?

Hello. I found a brittle star living in my crown leather. I didn't know if he was good or bad and he wasn't fun to get out of the leather. Can someone identify and let me know? Also he may have lost some legs in the process of getting him out. If he's good can he still function with let's say smaller legs???? Thanks in advance!

For the record he had much longer legs before he fought me getting out of the leather. I know some brittle stars are not good most are fine.

Thanks. I have live rock in my tank from a live rock dealer in Florida and e er now and then something I didn't know was in the tank pops up. This time it's a brittle star. I'll put him back just not in the leather.
