Is this a good setup for filtration?

Fluval 13.5 evo tank

I took the original filter sponge out of the middle compartment and I moved all my media to my first compartment right underneath my overflow

I put a sponge down the side and filled along side the sponge with bio media and then I put sponge on top to ensure all debris were caught before the entering my bio media .

The middle section where my filtration used to be now has a surface skimmer and theres no room for anything else in the middle section.

In the 3rd sectio I have my return pump which I just upgraded to the sicce 1.0 so now its pushing 251gph , also in the 3rd section I have my heater and a bag of chemi pure.

Does anyone see any issues with the way I have this organized ? Please share

I would point the Koralia towards the water surface. Gas exchange is extremely important in nano tanks.

I didnt block the hole in chamber 2 I found about about having to do that after the fact . Any suggestions for how to block it with water in the tank ?

I used a plug that intank gave me when I bought the media baskets from them . I also used super glue and coral epoxy . Here’s a link to what the plug looked like .

Improve the flow in your Fluval Evo 13.5 and Fluval Spec 16 aquarium. The plug blocks off the hole in chamber two, improving the track of water forcing it into chamber one, and keeping the rear chambers more clean.
