Hey all,

Does this look like a GSP hiding behind this trachy? I know I know the pics aren’t great. There’s 2 polyps that I can see but could be more round the back.

It’s definitely not an Aiptasia before anyone says haha. The trachy isn’t touching the rock so it shouldn’t be able to spread. I don’t really want to take eye trachy out because it took me ages to get it placed correctly. If I was just to pluck it out with tongs, I assume a new head will just grow back.

Should I leave it as that’s nature. I have a 200 gallon tank so plenty of room for it.

Cheers

At first glance it looks like a clove of some sort, or another type of anemone. Hard to tell fromnpic

Older post sorry but that looks like a zoa spider. I hope you removed it. Pic is a bit blurry. But I’ve seen one before and that’s what it looked like.

Your probably right. They do tend to stick around zoas. They can wander though. Looks just like it though. I don’t have photos anymore.

Cheers, i decided to remove it and it was a purple GSP. Well it definitely wasn’t a critter.

The joys of trying to get a good pic on an iPhone haha
