I haven't had these guys before, and I've been hit or miss with mushrooms in general. It was a good price though and looked interesting, so I figured I'd give it a shot. It does look like it's expanded a bit from when it was in the store, and is draping over the rock I have offered it. My red disco is way more upright and self-supporting (but an absolute drama queen), and that's all I have experience with.

Other than coloration (which is hard to tell from the purple), but it looks reasonably happy (and it's rhodactis).
That's good. I've had a disco that immediately tried to die, so if this one is chill, awesome.

It does have an unusual body tone I think. The first pic is reasonably true to life, at least on my monitors. It has a orangey-yellow body tone, with purple-ish rings/ areas, and a teal-ish blue-ish center. Blends in the the rock a little bit. Same colors, just a little more vivid at the store, and they've got much more blue light. I was trying to see if there was anything like it, but didn't find anything close.

Pretty sure that is not a rhodactis mushroom.
Looks happy. Probably a disco...
Leopard discosoma..
Could be? I don't mind either way, not terribly important to me, so long as I can keep it happy. My record with mushrooms is 50/50 right now
