Is this a hydroid jellyfish? It is on the glass of my aquarium. Should I get rid of it?

Yep. When I had them, I would just scrape them off with everything else while cleaning the glass. The kind to worry about are the colonial ones. These were around my glass for a few days, then I scraped and haven't seen again.

They had to come in on some snails or in some chaeto I got from ReefCleaners. That's the only thing added to the tank (besides my 2 clowns) since it just cycled with dry sand and rocks. I just found a few more on the back glass.

I have several snails in a invert QT and haven't seen any hydroids in there, though!

Not unusual to see them. Some bloom and disappear. Not always a hydroid I belive. Several species reproduce this way.
I've never removed them. I'm also pretty sure a lot of fish crabs and bugs eat them.

Well since I'm pretty sure I'm winning the award for the slowest tank buildout in history, it was kind of exciting to see something else alive in this aquarium besides the two clowns!
