It’s a discosoma yellow, red, green and purple in metallic colours, not fully open yet

Send it to me I’ll identify it for you

Welcome to R2R ;) I can't fully tell from the images provided, since it's only half open, but it looks like it very well could be

Red and orange are some of the more common colors but they develop purple, green and yellow. Even if it’s not a jawbreaker it’s a cool piece

IMO looks like a acid trip mushroom

Never seen one of those, doesn’t even show on google lol have you got a link do comparison ?

With my luck it may definitely not be one, but I like the fact that it was a different coral you know

If it did not come with lineage back to a Jawbreaker, then it is not one. It is still really cool.

My jawbreakers do have green in them... the more green, the more that I can get for them.

Interesting what do you mean with lineage? If I stumble in a shop with a coral that is a jawbreaker for example but the seller doesn’t know were it’s from or were it came from it makes it to be just a shroom? Similar like you can only get a Walt Disney if it’s from Jason fox himself?

You have to trust the people and then use your common sense. EVERYBODY knows where they got their real jawbreaker - nobody buys/sells a $200-500 coral and did not know where it came from. If they did not know, then it was probably not the real deal.

If they said that they got it from WWC, then you can probably believe this if it looks right. I never get insulted if people want to see my email chain or receipt for my collector-named stuff - I do not blame them at all.

Walt Disney came from BigR Corals, actually. Everybody should be able to trace it back to there. I think that you can trust Jason Fox that his is the real deal since he has never been know to risk his reputation for a buck.

Jesus 500$ most expensive jawbreaker in the uk it’s about 100$ and mine was 11.74$ probably lost in a box from Vietnam as that’s all we getting here at the moment. the reason am not really expecting to be one but it is a very unusual mushroom hence the question [emoji23] in the uk the news aren’t as available as in the US for us to actually be able to get our hands on some JF signature corals it is already a big thing. Learned something new as I always tough WD was a JF signature coral.
