Is this a Liomera monticulosa?

Hi all,

Few months back I had bought one extra live rock to put in my experimental tank. During the night I checked the tank with flash light and saw a white crab with red claws/legs walking around (looked very cute, like a panda). The next day however it was already digested by my pistol shrimp. Last night I checked my tank again and saw one more (but smaller). This time I have separated the crab immediately and made some photos. I would like to put it in my coral tank if its reef safe. Was wondering if anyone could ID him and if its save to put in my coral tank? this one is a bit smaller and less thick (when looking from front/back) but otherwise the same.

As a member of the family xanthidae, I’d imagine there is a sizable chance that it isn’t reef safe. Cool looking crab though.

Its in the same or similar family where the strawberry crab is in, and that crab looks reef safe from what ive read so maybe that crab you have is safe.

Liomera monticulosa seems like a good guess to me. Not sure if it's reef-safe or not.
