Multiply quickly and often blend with coral and rock. This is the most recent colony they started to destroy:

After ( I picked them off this colony) :

WoW!!… that is awful I’m having serious doubts now. Mine are nothing like yours… but still, would hate to lose the ones I got. I’m guessing that those who favor them don’t have zoas, are lucky or it is just type dependent?

Fortunately I am removing them daily until I went on vacation but person watching my tank said there are a few he saw but the colony is coming back strong.

Happy to hear that the colony is bouncing back. I can only imagine how long it took to grow that one out.

I noticed this hanging at the bottom of my filter and was wondering if this is the beginning of a small starfish? Is it good…bad… I have a 6 gallon with corals. Must have hitchhiked on one of the corals I last purchased. Thanks in advance!

Good for the most part, make sure they don't eat your coral.
