I haven't moved it. It has been there since I noticed it. It's in the same spot where I noticed what I thought was a sponge a couple months ago. I'm out of town for work a lot and have my cousin that feeds the fish but I'm working on getting an ato and water reservoir because my cousin doesn't refill water. So the salinity has risen a few times the last couple months since I've been out of town longer but I slowly refill it with treated water to get the salinity right. I've been looking into solid budget ato thoughCan't say 100% but it look like bleached ricordea, can be Rhodactis, or Umbrella.
Where it's been and since when is there on the gravel/sand? It look like the zooxanthellae is gone at the moment (which can recover after while), keep the water stable and in good condition, probably later on you will see new colors on it.
And @R3dn3kH1ppy WELCOME to R2R, and happy reefing![]()
The ATO is good idea, and take something, which can keep your water on level. Also yes, bigger container to have enough water to replace the evaporation is best way.I haven't moved it. No worries thank you for the replyThe ATO is good idea, and take something, which can keep your water on level. Also yes, bigger container to have enough water to replace the evaporation is best way.
I have 40l barrel and my daily evaporation is near 1.5l, so for at least 25 days I have water to top up.
So, can't say anything else about the mushroom, sorry
