Yup hes got aiptasia lolI think I see an aiptasia in with the zoa's. You can see the long tendrons in the back with the zoa.
Can you show us a picture of your tank, a few would be nice.

I got this idea from a fellow reefer here. Get a stainless steel straw, 1/4"-1/2" and a length of hose. When doing water changes you can suck out your undesirables into a bucket, use a rubber band to form a seal of hose to straw. Works great. I also sucked out plenty of algae one day, won't work for aiptasia because they root into the pores of the rock. With this device you may not need to remove the rocks. Good luck. Here’s a few pics. I’m cleaning up the Xenia - removed some rocks to clean. They’re in a separate tank. I didn’t want to get any toxins in my DT. Tank is about 15 months old now. I’m going slow for sure. I hav a really big leather that’s dropping pieces. Not sure what to do with it, to be honest.
Thanks - work in progress for sure! Especially since I’m still learning. I’ve backed off on the feeding a little bit. I have tried shrimp but they just die. Not sure why! I like the filefish - kinda cool, prehistoric looking. I think it’s slowly helping with the aiptasia.Nice reef. I see you have quite a few astarina starfish, you must be feeding kind of heavy. I have a few of those and some aiptasia for a couple years now. I think the combined efforts of Filefish, shrimp and myself we are keeping the aiptasia numbers low.
Good idea! Doing a water change today so I’ll address some algae.I got this idea from a fellow reefer here. Get a stainless steel straw, 1/4"-1/2" and a length of hose.
