manjano. pest.
Do majanos remain the same size throughout its life? It is on a recovering sps frag that bleached out months ago. It has always been there since I got the frag. It hasn't multiplied or anything. Here is an image from July 2013:

Looks cool. But I have to agree with Rob&Gab.
Thanks for the response.

they do spread over time. i never really researched them. so i wouldn't be able to help you there. but i no it is that. wouldnt wanna give you any wrong any information.

I have a couple, which I need to get rid off, but they can spread and it's somewhat of a risk keeping them. They do look neat though! And I believe they can get a little bigger, but not huge. Hope this helps!

I've had a lot of different looking majanos, but never had one that looked like that.
Plus since it hasn't multiplied, I'm not sure it is one.

I have had one before and gotten rid of it but it didn't look like the one on the sps frag. I hasn't even grown or multiplied which is why I ask.

Looks like a paly to me. goodtimes;1664452]

Majano anemone
Yeah the appearance does make it not seem like a majano but I think I will keep it awhile longer and observe its behavior.

That's what has gotten me confused, the non-multiplication and non-growth.

exactly this..
it's a paly.. definitely not a pest nem..
Thanks for the response
