Is this a pest?

Need your help to identify what this is? And what I need to do. I notice some white things almost transparent looking growing on my rocks. Should I pe worried? Please advise. Thank you.

If I am looking at the right things, those are tiny pineapple sponges.

They are harmless but can be unsightly. Fortunately for me they only live in my sump.

What they said. They will come and go according to the availability of food. Perfectly fine, filter feeders
