Is this a problem algae

Iv got this like light brown dusting on sand with longer hair like strands, no bubbles in algae but is bubbles just under sand when move with baster, whot you think it is?

Suck some out and squirt through a coffee filter. Water will come out clear. Wait about 15min. Of you see the "algae" congregate, then it's dinos. If not, could be diatoms or cyano.

Tank went through cycle October and put 1st lot of fish into tank November, put 1st corals in this week,. I never had any algae until this whots started 3 weeks ago

I also started middle October I’m having hair algae no Cyrano. My rocks were all dry. Probably still new tank syndrome

Still a new tank. Without a scope pic, hats to definitely say what's present since many algaes, dinos, and cyano can look similar. 3 month old tank... probably still diatoms and some cyano presenting... early on, i h as d dark cyano like yours! Watch your nitrate/phosphates with regular testing... don't let them bottom out. You want to see algae growth at this point.

Thanks,. Iv got number or bigger fish Inc 3 tangs whot poop lots but my nitrates are only 2-3ppm and po4 was 0.01 on Hanna. I did water change and all came back within 2 days the algae,. Would you dose phosphate at this early stage or bacteria like microbactor7

Dosing occasional MicroBacter7 won't hurt to increase nitrifying bacteria diversity. It's good you are registering some no3/po4 so far. Pick a target, such as 5ppm no3 and 0.04 po4, as an example, and see if you can keep it around those levels. Big fluctuations will bring on cyano, but that's easier to remove than dinos. I dose no3/po4 to keep my levels somewhat regular now.
