They are great. Best worms, in my opinion (other than fan worms, which look good). Do a good job of cleaning up detritus and leftover food. They are very welcome in my tanks. Bristleworms not so much.

There will be more at night, and if you shine a flashlight at them they will hide back in the rock.

Likely yes and reef safe specimen that eats uneaten food and detritus. One that creeps out many reefers.

Definitely looks like something in the "worm with grabby bits" group. Beneficial detritivores, good to have. They can minorly annoy corals if one sets up shop right next to a coral and touches it a lot, but other than that, they don't hurt anything.

I also saw one that wasn’t connected to anything that was crawling on my glass very slowly (looked like a piece of string), could it be something bad?

pretty sure not spaghetti worm ,but hair worm, yes are safe ...

No, it was like 5-7 inches but was almost as thin as hair.

A single line loose on the glass is something else. Hair worms, spaghetti worms, and the like are worms that will have a bunch of tendrils at one end.

Hard to tell without a photo. Likely not a concern- there are a lot of harmless worms that can turn up in reef tanks.
