Is this a sponge?

This growth have started to appear at three different places in my aquarium. All of them is where my capnella has been (I've moved it around a bit to find the right spot for it)
Anyone knows what it could be?

Appears to be clatharina sponge

While harmless, will continue to grow. You can cut with razor at base and discard if you wish

Aesthetically, it's not a problem for me. I just want to make sure it won't harm other livestock.
