Is this a sponge?

Hello reefs so not entirely sure about this one I have a white sponge I think that is starting to take over everything. Is this even a sponge it started on this zoa frag and eventually covered the whole frag white and used a turkey baster probably a bad idea, and it pretty much disappeared and now 3 months here I am with this.

I think it’s cool... but if you want to kill it just have to zoa out of water for a few mins, most sponges don’t bounce back if they are exposed to air, especially if for a few minutes, worth a shot imo.

Aslong as it doesnt kill anything it's fine with me from the photo I have vermited snails and tons of hydroids havent noticed anything affected from either one just didnt think a s sponge would spread like this
