I must disagree with the Heterocentrotus mamillatus identification. I haven't seen a real Slate Pencil Urchin for sale here in the US for twenty-five or maybe thirty years. If you see one available, please let me know - I'll take it!. I think the posted photo is the more commonly available Phyllacanthus imperialis. Reply here if you need photos...
