Is this a stylophora or a Pocillopora?

Hi everyone,

I have what I believe is a Stylophora. This thing is growing fast and very tall. Most Stylo's that I've seen grow in a ball.

I thought so. It gust has a weird groth patturen.

I don't usually try to call out "named" corals but if it has a black spike frag plug then you can consider it the ORA purple Stylo. ORA Purple Stylophora | Stylophora sp. | Oceans, Reefs & Aquariums

If there is no plug or origin then subseriata like the Lawman said.

It must be an ORA Purple Stylo. It does have a black spike plug. A person in my club was tearing down his reef when I acquired this frag. It has grown much faster than the other Stylo I have in my tank. That helps tremendously thank you for your input. I also contacted the member I bought it off of, and he confirmed your findings. I had PM'ed him before I had posted, but their was no response for 2 weeks. He is now out of the hobby.
