Is this a type of clove polyp?

I got this frag from a local guy. He said it was a type of clove polyp but it looks nothing like the cloves I already have.

Photo shot with a macro. The frag us maybe 1cm

Tidal Gardens sells a frag of those for $50. Why not see if someone wants it before you trash it?

I haven't decided that I'm going to get rid of it. From what I've found so far some spreads faster than others and even when it becomes invasive when it goes head to head with other coral it looses ground. For the time being I'm going to hang on to it and read up some more before I make a final decision.
 
Don’t get rid of it! It’s a great coral you font see too often! I’d love some myself!
 
+1 blue green sympodium...not that invasive...i love it.
