Digitate Hydroids
Link
We throw this term around so readily but upon research there is no data, no described species I can find of the animal labeled as a "digitate hydroid". May i ask what parameters define a "digitate hydroid" what family or group of species are encompassed by this term?

Biota > Animalia (Kingdom) >Cnidaria (Phylum) > Hydrozoa (Class) > Hydroidolina (Subclass) > Anthoathecata (Order) > Capitata (Suborder) > Zancleidae (Family) > Zanclea (Genus)

"Digitate Hydroid" is just a name used in many reef communities for this species.

Could be a bristle worm. More pics?

definitely the Zanclea as suggested earlier
Just read about em- Thank you guys! Now to deal with this marine velvet. Ugh- at first I thought it was ICH. I screwed up the qt process and bought new fish too soon at day 45 and added to the DT. Kept the velvet alive on accident.
