I have a new tank set up. One clown. Five small hermits. Hanna says my alkalinity is 178 ppm. Magnesium is 1260. Ph is 7.86 with lights on for an hr.

Dosing with baking soda ash and Epsom solution

How new is your tank setup? Tanks tank months to fully stabilize biologically. Never Rush, Believe me, patience was hard to learn. YOU can do it! http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/?ne_p...d_id=4488555&gclid=COfHxdzJnsECFSRp7AodJlsAjw is one of many good sites. I obtain my Alk/CA Solutions/powders for making them, plus Carbon/GFO .

Alk should be 7-12dkh I prefer 8-9.5dkh PH (after light have been on for a few hours) PH8.2 Ph always lowers at night Mine is at 7.9 then moves up slowly to 8.3+

It's a 150. I'm moving up from a 15 ga. It's cycled though my nitrates read 5ppm so I need a water change more often I think. Been running for 2 months. Clown transferred last week. Then hermits yesterday.
